Our Spring Recital dates are Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, 2024 and our shows are held at the beautiful High Point Theatre (220 E. Commerce Avenue, High Point.) Per the info sent out in earlier emails, there are FOUR recital shows. Our Friday 6:30pm Show (PAC Team Showcase) will be a “normal” show that runs about 2.5 hours long including the intermission. ALL Saturday Shows (11am, 2:30pm & 5:30pm) will run about an hour and 15 mins to an hour and 30 mins long with no intermission.

Each class is assigned a show time, and please refer back to the link below to see what show(s) your student will be performing in.

Stage rehearsals at the theatre will be on THURSDAY, June 13 (afternoon/evening hours), with specific times for each class TBA. You will not be needed for the whole duration of stage rehearsals.

TICKET INFORMATION:
Please remember, you don’t pay a recital fee to participate, so you DO NOT receive any free tickets per student. Each attendee will need a ticket to view the show, and dancers do not need a ticket for the show(s) they are performing in. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 8.

To order tickets:
You can order online at https://highpointtheatre.com starting at 10am on April 8th. You can also call the High Point Theatre box office at 336-887-3001 or show up to the box office in-person beginning at 10am on ticket launch day, and all other days during their regular business hours of M-F 12:00-5:00pm. Base Tickets are $15 each (plus taxes & fees), and there are also more expensive, tiered ticket options. Seating is reserved, so if you want everyone in your party to be seated together, I would purchase them all at the same time. There’s not a bad seat in the house, and all dancers can be seen on-stage at all times. The box-office staff will help you pick the best available seats.

Please note that the theatre box office hours for phone or in-person sales are Monday through Friday from 12:00-5:00pm ONLY. The box office only opens at 10am on the first day our tickets go on sale (April 8.) The first few days our tickets go on sale they are VERY busy and you may not be able to get through the first few times you call because they are helping someone else. Some people have more luck going to the theatre in person, though that is not required. Just keep calling and within the first week you will eventually get through and still get good seats. They said we have bigger opening sale days than when they bring in big name artists – I guess everyone loves themselves some kids in tutus! 😊 That’s why we also have the online ticketing option for those who would like to order that way. Just keep in mind that the theatre does tack on an online convenience fee.

Tickets are needed for anyone (despite age) entering the theatre. Children under age 2 are free, but will still need a $0 “lap baby” ticket, and must stay on a lap for the duration of the show. Students in the recital & backstage volunteers DO NOT need a ticket, and must stay backstage for the duration of the show (during the showtimes they are performing/volunteering in.)
Backstage volunteers (women only) can see the show during their student’s dances from reserved seats in THE FRONT ROW!

All tickets are purchased through the High Point Theatre only. NO TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED IN STUDIO.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We are so excited for this years shows and for you to see your star show off all they have learned!

Thanks so much!
